Hours is provided as an independent prayer and reference aid for the Breviarium Romanum.
Use of Hours
You may use Hours for personal prayer, study, and other lawful purposes. The Apple Standard End User License Agreement applies unless the App Store product page states otherwise.
Independent project
Hours is not an official liturgical book and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Holy See, a diocese, a religious order, or another ecclesiastical authority.
Accuracy and liturgical use
Considerable care is taken with the calendar, rubrics, office text, and chant, but errors may occur. Where an obligation requires an approved edition, you are responsible for using an edition authorized for that purpose.
Third-party and open-source material
Some text, typeface, glyph, and chant material is distributed under the licenses identified on the Licenses page. Applicable open-source licenses control their respective material.
No warranty
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hours and this website are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Matthew McCarty will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of Hours or this website.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. The effective date above identifies the current version.
